What is EV Powered Properties?
EV Powered Properties is an initiative aimed at supporting people with disabilities by providing affordable transport and electricity through solar panels and electric vehicles installed at purpose-built NDIS Specialist Accommodation (SDA) homes.
How does the project help people with disabilities?
The project helps people with disability by substantially reducing transportation and electricity costs, enabling individuals to move into vacant NDIS SDA properties across Australia. EV Powered Properties facilitate Electric accessible vehicles, large solar panel installation, vehicle to grid technology to power homes during peak electricity price independence and a better quality of life.

Solar panels and electric vehicles provide significant savings on energy and transport costs, enhance accessibility, and contribute to a sustainable living environment for individuals with disabilities.
Who is involved in the project consortium?
The project consortium includes NDIS Care, and SDA Providers. Electric vehicle manufacturers, V2G EVSE manufacturers, Electricity Retail Partners, each contributing unique expertise to ensure successful implementation.
What is the role of the NDIS in this project?
The NDIS plays a crucial role by providing funding and support for individuals with disabilities, facilitating their transition from living arrangements that disable them to purpose-built Specialist Disability Accommodation ( SDA) properties. EV Powered Properties equips them with renewable energy technologies, customised battery electric vehicles and vehicle to grid technology for enhanced living conditions, and significantly lower electricity and transport costs.
